The Machina skid plate for the Triumph Tiger 900 family (2020–2023) is a 3mm aluminium protection plate that solves a documented failure in the OEM Rally Pro design — a single-point sump mount that cracks sump covers on trail impacts. Four rigid brackets distribute force across four sump contact points simultaneously, quartering the impact load at any single point.
Both the sump and the exposed oil filter — which sits at the front of the engine beside the exhaust collector, a common strike point — are covered. All 2020–2023 variants share the same frame, engine, and underbody geometry: one plate fits base Tiger 900, GT, GT Pro, Rally, Rally Pro, and 850 Sport within this model-year range.
Bolt-on to existing mounting points with no drilling and no permanent modifications — installs in 15 to 20 minutes using standard spanners and allen keys, with all hardware included. Compatible with OEM lower crash bars and centre stand on GT Pro and Rally Pro variants. Designed and tested on Indian roads by MACHINA.

Yes — the Machina plate uses four sump brackets that distribute impact across four contact points simultaneously, reducing the force at any single point to one quarter of the OEM design. The factory Rally Pro plate mounts at one point and concentrates 100% of impact there; multiple owners have cracked their sump cover on a single rock strike. The Machina four-bracket design eliminates that failure mode.
Yes. The Tiger 900's oil filter sits exposed at the front of the engine beside the exhaust collector pipe — a common strike point that most riders don't discover until after a trail incident. The Machina plate covers both the sump and the oil filter as part of its full forward coverage design. An oil filter strike means immediate, total oil loss; this plate protects against it.
Yes — the plate has a built-in oil-change provision, so it stays on the bike during routine servicing. No need to remove it for oil changes.
Yes. The Machina plate is compatible with the OEM lower crash bars on the Tiger 900 — no removal or replacement needed. It is also compatible with the OEM centre stand fitted on GT Pro and Rally Pro variants.
Yes — this listing is for 2020–2023 models only. The 2024 Tiger 900 introduced an O2 sensor near the skid plate mounting area that required different bracket geometry. A 2020–2023 plate will not fit correctly on a 2024+ bike. Always verify your model year before ordering — contact us if unsure.
Approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The Machina plate bolts on to existing mounting points — no drilling, no permanent modifications. Standard spanners and allen keys are all you need; all mounting hardware is included with the plate.
