The Machina skid plate for the Ducati Scrambler 400, Scrambler 800, Monster 795, and Monster 796 is a CNC-machined aluminium protection plate that shields the engine's oil filter, oil pan, and lower cases from rock strikes and ground contact. Available in black powder coat and silver finishes, it is a direct bolt-on fitment with no modifications required.
The plate is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium for a combination of light weight and durability. Multiple ventilation slots on the front, sides, and bottom allow airflow over the engine, and the overall dimensions — 500mm x 265mm x 76mm — provide full bottom coverage of the exposed Ducati L-twin underside. Corrosion-resistant powder coat finish on both colour variants protects long-term.
Compatible with Scrambler 400, Scrambler 800, Monster 795, and Monster 796 models from 2015 to 2021. Bolt-on to existing mounting points with no drilling or permanent modifications. Available in Black or Silver. Designed and sourced by MACHINA.

The plate protects the oil filter, oil pan, and lower engine cases — the most exposed components on the Scrambler's air-cooled L-twin. A rock strike to the oil filter or oil pan on this engine means immediate oil loss. The Machina plate covers the full bottom of the engine to prevent it.
Yes. The same Machina plate fits the Ducati Scrambler 400 and Scrambler 800, as well as the Monster 795 and Monster 796, all from 2015 to 2021. These models share the same frame geometry and underbody dimensions.
No. The plate has multiple ventilation slots on the front, sides, and bottom to keep air flowing over the engine. The Ducati L-twin is air-cooled, so airflow was a design consideration — the ventilation is functional, not decorative.
No — it is a direct bolt-on fitment to the existing mounting points on the Scrambler and Monster platforms. No drilling, no cutting, no permanent modifications to the bike.
The plate is available in Black powder coat and Silver. Black suits the standard and urban Scrambler variants and blends with the engine cases. Silver suits the classic and icon variants and matches the aluminium engine finish. Both offer the same protection — the choice is purely visual.
No. This plate is sized for the Scrambler 400 / 800 and Monster 795 / 796 platforms only. The Scrambler 1100 and Monster 821 / 1200 have different frame geometry and larger underbody dimensions — this plate will not fit those models.
