The Machina skid plate for the BMW F900 GS and F900 GSA gives these adventure bikes genuine underbody protection where the factory pan falls short. Built from 3mm aluminium, it covers the full underside — sump, lower engine cases, and exhaust — mounting to the bottom of the engine across multiple points so any impact is distributed, not concentrated.
Rubber shock absorbers sit between the plate and the engine, damping vibration and softening impacts. Durable rubber grommets resist the break-and-lodge problem that affects this engine family with cheaper plates. Oil-change access is built in, so you do not need to remove the plate for routine servicing.
Note: the F900 GS (standard) and F900 GSA (Adventure) are different lengths — select your correct variant when ordering. Compatible with all crash bars on the market. Bolt-on installation in approximately 20 minutes with standard tools and all hardware included. Designed and tested on Indian roads by MACHINA.
