This is the full Machina crash bar set for the Kove 800X, with upper and lower bars. The lower bars wrap the engine and take the hit in a tip-over. The upper bars protect the fairing, radiator surround and tank area, which is expensive to replace after a drop on a trail.

The frame is carbon steel tube and bolts to the 800X's existing frame mounting points.

How do I install the Machina upper and lower crash bars on my Kove 800X?

They bolt to the Kove 800X's frame mounting points with basic hand tools. Fit all bolts loosely first, align both sides, then tighten evenly. Any workshop can fit them if you'd rather not do it yourself.

Are the Machina upper and lower crash bars suitable for riding the Kove 800X in India?

Yes. Low-speed tip-overs in traffic, on gravel and on slippery monsoon roads are common in India. Crash bars take that hit instead of the engine casings and bodywork of your Kove 800X, which are expensive and slow to replace.
