The Machina skid plate for the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 gives this off-road-ready adventure bike the underbody protection it badly needs. The X300 has no frame cradle beneath the engine, leaving the oil pan, lower engine cases, and the components behind the front wheel exposed on every gravel road and trail. This 3mm aluminium plate, finished in black powder coat, shields the engine belly and bolts to the frame — not to the fragile oil-pan tabs that cause cracked sumps on cheaper plates.
It mounts at four frame points on both sides of the engine using the existing OEM hardware — no drilling required. It fits with the OEM plastic shrouds still in place, so the bike keeps its finished look and the side sensor is not exposed. A functional V-shaped airflow channel and front ventilation holes keep air moving over the engine, and the smooth underside slides over obstacles cleanly.
Oil changes require plate removal via the OEM bolts. Bolt-on with no drilling or permanent modifications, approximately 20 minutes. Designed and tested on Indian roads by MACHINA.
