The Machina crash bar for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 wraps around the Sherpa engine so a tip-over lands on steel instead of the engine casings, radiator surround and side panels. On the Himalayan's natural ground — gravel, river crossings, broken ghat roads and slippery monsoon tarmac — slow drops happen, and a cracked casing far from a service centre can end a trip.
It is made from steel with a high-gloss black finish and bolts to the Himalayan 450's existing frame mounting points.

Be the first to share your experience! They are made specifically for the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. If you have other aftermarket parts fitted around the engine, such as a different crash guard or auxiliary lights, send Machina a photo on WhatsApp before ordering and we'll confirm fitment.
Steel with a high-gloss black finish. Steel is tough and can often be straightened after an impact instead of cracking, and the finish protects it from rust.
They bolt to the Himalayan 450's frame mounting points with basic hand tools. Fit all bolts loosely first, align both sides, then tighten evenly. Any workshop can fit them if you'd rather not do it yourself.
Yes. Low-speed tip-overs on gravel, in river crossings, in traffic and on slippery monsoon roads are common on Himalayan rides. Crash bars take that hit instead of the engine casings and bodywork, which are expensive to repair and slow to source on a trip.
Yes. Crash bars protect the sides of the engine and a skid plate protects the underside, so many riders run both. If you already have a non-Machina skid plate, send us a photo on WhatsApp to check for clashes.
