The Machina skid plate for the Ducati Multistrada 950 and Multistrada V2 covers the underside of the Testastretta engine, shielding the sump, oil filter area and lower casings from rocks, ruts and grounding on broken roads. A single hit to an unprotected sump can crack a casing and end a ride far from a service centre.

It is made from black aluminium plate with ventilation slots that let heat escape, and bolts to the bike's existing mounting points under the engine.

It fits the Ducati Multistrada 950 / 950 S from 2017 to 2021 and the Multistrada V2 / V2 S from 2022 to 2024. It does not fit the 2025 Multistrada V2, or the Multistrada 1200, 1260 or V4. If you're unsure of your model year, send Machina a photo on WhatsApp before ordering.

It bolts to the Multistrada's mounting points under the engine with basic hand tools. Fit all bolts loosely first, line the plate up, then tighten evenly. Any mechanic can fit it if you'd rather not do it yourself.

Check drain-plug and filter access when you first fit the plate. If access is tight on your model, the plate comes off with its mounting bolts in a few minutes for servicing.
