The MACHINA Upper Crash Bar Engine Guard is a steel bolt-on protective bar that wraps around the upper engine and frame area of the BMW F900R and F900XR. It shields the upper engine casings and fairing mounting points from damage during tip-overs and low-speed drops, and can also serve as a mounting base for auxiliary lights or luggage supports. Finished in matte black powder coat for durability and a clean, aggressive look.
Compatibility: BMW F900R (2020–2021), BMW F900XR (2020–2021)

Steel. Steel is tough and can often be straightened after an impact instead of cracking.
They bolt to the BMW F 900 R / F 900 XR's frame mounting points with basic hand tools. Fit all bolts loosely first, align both sides, then tighten evenly. Any workshop can fit them if you'd rather not do it yourself.
Yes. Low-speed tip-overs in traffic, on gravel and on slippery monsoon roads are common in India. Crash bars take that hit instead of the engine casings and bodywork of your BMW F 900 R / F 900 XR, which are expensive and slow to replace.
Yes. Crash bars protect the sides of the engine and a skid plate protects the underside, so many riders run both. If you already have a non-Machina skid plate, send us a photo on WhatsApp to check for clashes.
