The BMW G310GS and G310R leave the rear wheel exposed — road spray, mud, and grit get thrown directly onto the engine, swingarm, and rider's feet. This MACHINA Tyre Hugger wraps closely around the rear tyre, blocking spray at the source. It also replaces the bulky OEM rear fender subassembly with a cleaner tail tidy setup that integrates the license plate holder and LED mount bracket.

Yes. In the monsoon the rear tyre throws water and mud onto the shock, the underbody and your back. The tyre hugger catches that spray, keeping your BMW G 310 GS / G 310 R's rear suspension cleaner and cutting down on corrosion.
It is designed to clear the stock tyre through full suspension travel. If you run a larger or knobbly tyre, check clearance with the bike loaded before a long ride.
